We have two main focus areas for the social media campaign in 2019:

 

1. Generate sales

  • Delegate registration

  • Early bird pre-registration

  • Target online registrations exceeding 1000 pax

 

2. Improve brand awareness of Saphila 2019

  • Brand visibility & engagement (both delegate & exhibitor)

  • Generate database for ongoing communication

Linked-in focused advertisements

Targeted Linked-in and Facebook ads will be placed at strategic points throughout the campaign, using a peer sharing discount to motivate shares. 

Industry PR specific campaign pre-conference

Our PR campaign for Saphila 2019 will focus more strongly on getting pre-campaign exposure to drive ticket sales.

There are various strategies around this, and one is generating content through our partner’s virtual press office

facilities. SAP currently have a virtual press office on IT Web, and we would like to leverage these relationships to

create more pre event hype.

 

Targeting industry specific print and digital media will help us reach more potential Saphila delegates.

In 2017 Aomi, in partnership with inStar Group and icomm generated over 170 clippings valued at over R7,9 million in PR and trended on Twitter in the social media space.

 

In 2019 we commit to ramping up both elements to generate more talk-ability and reach more SAP customers and Partner than every before, targeting R9 million in PR exposure and Social Media stats of 3000 Facebook and 900 Twitter followers, with a push on Instagram & Linked In.

Our campaign strategy will be tailored to entice SAP and Partner product users, so that our messaging and sales drive is seen by a broader audience.
